The mission of EGPAC: a heart for Galgos and Podencos
EGPAC Europe is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to supporting one trusted partner shelter.
Our mission is to raise awareness, provide financial support, and improve the lives of rescue dogs through fundraising, advocacy, and practical assistance.
We do not arrange adoptions ourselves; our focus is on strengthening our partner shelter so it can continue its lifesaving work.

At EGPAC, everything we do comes from pure love. There is no payment involved; our dedication stems from a deep-rooted desire to end the suffering of Galgos and Podencos.
This passion drives us every single day in our fight against abuse and for a better future for these hunting dogs.
Our dream for the future: growth and lasting support
In five years, we hope to look back on a journey where we have been able to provide lasting support to our partner shelters RGSA and PAWS-PATAS Shelter, helping them continue their vital rescue work in Spain.
Our greatest dream is to strengthen these partnerships, helping both shelters grow so that even more Galgos, Podencos, and other vulnerable dogs can find safety, care, rehabilitation, and a loving forever home.
We strive for a world where abandonment, neglect, and the suffering of hunting dogs are no longer a reality.
Our target audience: the voice of the hunting dogs
Our story is for everyone who is not yet aware of the tragic reality faced by Spanish hunting dogs.
We want to raise awareness about their abuse and the lack of protection they receive.
By sharing this story, we hope to mobilize more people and ultimately put an end to the injustice inflicted upon these beautiful animals.
Our Commitment to Neglected Dogs

A Second Chance Story
When Luna, a young Galga, arrived at our partner shelter RGSA, she was scared, exhausted, and unsure if she could ever trust humans again. She had been found abandoned after hunting season, injured and hungry.
With time, patience, and medical care, Luna slowly began to heal. She learned that hands could be kind, that food would always be there, and that she was finally safe.
Today, Luna runs freely in the shelter yard, greeting volunteers with a wagging tail and bright eyes. She is still waiting for her forever home, but her story has already changed from survival to hope.
