Legal Status & Transparency

EGPAC Europe is a registered de facto association ("Feitelijke Vereniging") in Belgium. This is a legally recognized form of association that allows individuals to work together for a common non-profit purpose without establishing a separate legal entity.

Unlike a Belgian non-profit organization (VZW/ASBL), a de facto association does not have its own legal personality. A VZW is a separate legal entity with additional administrative requirements, such as formal statutes, a board structure, and annual filing obligations. A de facto association operates with a simpler structure while remaining fully legal under Belgian law.

Our association has been officially registered and can be found through the Belgian Associations Register (Verenigingsloket). We are committed to transparency, accountability, and the responsible use of all donations received in support of animal welfare projects and our partner shelters.

Every donation is used exclusively to support our mission of helping animals in need, providing assistance to shelters, and improving animal welfare standards. We believe that transparency and trust are essential, and we welcome any questions regarding our activities, fundraising efforts, and financial management.
