We are dedicated to protecting hunting dogs in Spain and raising awareness for this cause at a European level.
Why do we do what we do?
EGPAC Europe (European Galgo & Podenco Advocacy Council) is a Belgian volunteer-based organisation dedicated to improving the lives of Galgos, Podencos, and other vulnerable dogs in Spain.
We proudly support our trusted partner shelters RGSA and PAWS-PATAS Shelter, helping them rescue, rehabilitate, and care for abandoned, neglected, and abused animals while working to find them loving forever homes.
Through fundraising, advocacy, awareness campaigns, and international cooperation, we provide practical support where it is needed most. Together with our partners, we work towards a future where every dog is treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.
The driving force behind EGPAC Europe
Our driving force is the unwavering conviction that every hunting dog in Spain deserves protection.
We will not stop until this becomes a reality.
With a team of passionate volunteers, we dedicate ourselves daily to achieving this goal.

Officially Established in December 2025
Although our passion for helping dogs started long before, our organisation was officially founded in December 2025.
Since then, we have been dedicated to giving abandoned, neglected, and vulnerable dogs a second chance.
By working closely with trusted rescue partners, volunteers, and supporters, we strive to provide medical care, shelter, rehabilitation, and ultimately loving forever homes.
Every rescue, every adoption, and every life we change is only possible thanks to the incredible support of our community.
What began as a shared dream has grown into a mission that continues to make a real difference for dogs in need.
Our Story
Our journey began long before the organisation was officially established.
After living in Spain for several years, we witnessed firsthand the difficult reality faced by abandoned and neglected dogs. Every day we saw animals struggling to survive, while dedicated local shelters worked tirelessly with very limited resources. Those experiences left a lasting impression and inspired us to help wherever we could.
What started with supporting shelters, transporting donations, and helping dogs find loving homes gradually grew into something much bigger. Together with trusted rescue partners in Spain and an incredible network of volunteers and supporters, our mission continued to expand.
In December 2025, that mission officially became our organisation. Today, we continue to work hand in hand with our partner shelters to rescue dogs, provide essential medical care, and give them the opportunity to find safe, loving forever homes.
For us, every rescue is personal. Every dog deserves a second chance, and every successful adoption reminds us why we started this journey in the first place.
What does EGPAC Europe do?
EGPAC Europe is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to supporting a trusted partner shelter.
We raise awareness about animal welfare, provide financial support, and help improve the lives of rescue dogs through fundraising and advocacy.
Our focus is not on direct adoptions, but on strengthening our partner shelter so it can continue its vital rescue and care work.
